How it works
The rough planning range is 3–4 inches of cleaner diameter per US GPM. Metric flow is converted using 1 US gal = 3.785411784 L, and inches are converted to centimetres. This tool supports 1–12 US GPM (3.785411784–45.424941408 LPM); outside that range, consult equipment specifications. This is a tool support boundary, not a manufacturer limit. Optional PSI is context only and does not change the range: pressure cannot substitute for flow.
A 4 US GPM washer gives a 12–16 inch planning range (30.5–40.6 cm). This is a heuristic, not a compatibility guarantee.
Frequently asked questions
Why can a larger deck clean more slowly?
The available flow is spread over a wider path. Insufficient flow or incorrect tips can leave striping and force slower passes.
What should I check before buying?
Confirm the cleaner’s minimum flow, pressure rating, nozzle sizing, bar configuration and compatibility with your machine. Surface condition and your pace also affect results.
